A great reference that describes practically every science fiction/fantasy book, movie and TV show ever made anywhere in the world is The Ultimate Science Fiction Web Guide.

There's a wonderful webcast program devoted to science fiction and space exploration, called Mike Hodel's Hour 25. The host, aerospace engineer Warren James, does lengthy, intelligent interviews of writers, scientists and engineers. He interviewed me on the subject of the search for extraterrestrial intelligence and science fiction.

Writers and would-be writers should be aware of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, the main organization of writers in this field. Much of the website is for members only, but some parts are open to anyone.

There's a website devoted to science fiction based on real science, called www.hardsf.net.
